I am *so* in it's ridiculous, at £20 for the first year. Thanks for thinking of us like that.
Never knowing what The Ruffian is going to be from week to week is its charm. Like when I used to buy magazines made of paper that smelled nice.
It's also interesting to see your payment approach. My overwritten, clunkiest pieces are paywalled because I stupidly thought that putting in extra graft was how to reward a small number of paying supporters. But that's b***ocks & I'm going to rethink it around the radical concept of rewarding the best people with the better stuff.
Canadian here—happy to subscribe! I have shared your Paul McCartney piece so many times so definitely have already gotten my money’s worth. I always look forward to your insights.
Very happy to support. I’ve been a fan since first reading a piece you wrote for the New Statesman on curiosity. I’ve done the premium tier thingy. When will you contact people about the extras which that entails? Thanks for your writing!
Cheers Ian! I’m sure you’ve got better things to do! My address is 28 Marlfield Road, Grappenhall, Warrington. WA4 2JT.
Just for clarity, am I going to be lucky enough to get the next paperback that comes out in the new year? Not entirely sure from the wording of the offer. No worries either way. Very happy to support!
I’m torn, would like to support you and I’m drowning in email newsletters. Maybe if you made it 20 for life for early adopters I’d be motivated to make the jump. But still considering it anyway. Thanks for a great newsletter!

Anyway, it's ace to have The Ruffian.

This is easy, just cut one of your other newsletters.
