Go for it. Much to go further with that family and those characters; secrets, intrigue, betrayal, ambition, it is all there to extract.

Looking forward to reading the book.

Somehow it reminding me a bit of a political parable like “A Better Life” by Lionel Shriver. Which I very much enjoyed.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Compelling. This dinner vignette is a great window into a literary and political world I would love to explore in more detail.

That’s an intriguing & very well written short story. However, given what’s going on in India where Gen Z is mobilising, I think a future where generations fall out badly is a more likely dystopia. Or water wars.

A quart of exposition in a pint pot. The novel form should allow you much more scope. Good luck.
